We had a fantastic stay at Guesthouse Fuji in Onomichi! From the moment we arrived, Yoshida was helpful. He gave us a detailed map and recommended the best places to rent bikes, get amazing ramen, and even where to find the closest supermarket. The communal area was cozy and a great spot to meet fellow travelers. The beds were super comfortable and the location couldn't have been better, right near the main shopping street. I highly recommend this hostel for a homely and enjoyable stay in Onomichi.

The staff were really helpful and knowledgeable about the area. They provided us with a map and pointed out all the important locations, including bike rental and the best places to eat. The hostel was also well-maintained and clean, with attention to detail like providing shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom. they were kind enough to store our luggage before check-in and after check-out, which was very convenient.
The noise control in the hostel was quite poor. One night, there was a party in the kitchen that went on late into the night, making it difficult to sleep.

My stay at Guesthouse Fuji was absolutely delightful. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, and the owners' kindness seemed to have a positive influence on all the guests. I was pleasantly surprised by how well-behaved and considerate everyone was during my time there. The dorm room I stayed in was clean, comfortable, and surprisingly quiet, despite being a mixed dorm. The location of the guesthouse was also great for exploring Onomichi and going on cycling trips. I had an excellent experience at Guesthouse Fuji and would highly recommend it.
